The founder, Shubhi Sachan embarked on her journey to sustainability after spending six years working with the fashion/textile industry and realising the materiality involved in the process of making products versus the presentation of the finished objects. She sought to bridge the disconnect between the two worlds. MIL not only proposes alternative ways to use waste materials, but also actively challenges the notion that textile waste belongs in landfill.
