Recycling and reclamation of retired rock climbing ropes to reduce landfilling.

Rock climbing ropes are made of high grade nylon 6, at end of life (unsafe to climb) these ropes often find their way to landfill despite being made from high grade virgin materials. Project ReRoped aims to reclaim these ropes by up-cycling the external sheath into made products such as the one on display and recycle the internal cords to make 3D printing filament.
